Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know the status of my campaign?

While in the Campaigns section of CM, campaigns will be shown in a list format with a thumbnail on the left.

The status of the campaign will be at the bottom of the campaign.

The possible status of a campaign are as follows:

  • Draft: the process of creating a campaign has been initiated and is in the process of being designed or sent.
  • Scheduled: the creation process has been completed and campaign delivery has been scheduled for a date and time in the future.
  • In progress: the campaign is in the process of being delivered by Campaign Manager.
  • Under review: the campaign has been flagged and will be reviewed for spam-related issues. Contact Support to resolve this issue.
  • Suspended: the campaign will not be sent as some aspect (perhaps content or delivery address) was flagged.
  • Delivered: the campaign was successfully delivered to your subscribers
  • Archived: campaigns older than six months are automatically archived to improve system performance. Campaign information is accessible by downloading the data as a .csv file.
What types of campaigns can I create?

There are four types of campaigns that can be created.  The type can be chosen in the first step of the creation process.

  1. Regular campaign: a campaign which is delivered only once, either immediately or scheduled for a future date
  2. Autoresponder campaign: triggered by a specific event, this campaign is deployed upon a new subscriber joining a mailing list, or an annual date (e.g. a subscriber’s birthday).
  3. Recurring campaign: this campaign is created and designed once then scheduled for future deployment at a desired interval. More information on Recurring Campaigns here.
  4. A/B split campaign: this campaign type sends out two different versions of a campaign to a small group of your subscribers, determines the campaign that has the most success, then sends the winning version to the remaining subscribers. It is used to test impact and success of various aspects of campaigns. More information on A/B Split campaigns here.
